UPDATE: PROFESSIONAL GOALS

I hope you all are doing well this work week! I am so motivated and geared up because this is a very exciting time for me! Back in January, I made a post about my professional goals. In it I shared all about my process and making it a priority to set these goals for the year. Any time of the year is a great time to self-evaluate; however for me personally, I prefer having a clean slate of the new year to motivate and push me into execution of bringing those goals into fruition. That means getting clear about what I want, getting organized, creating a plan, setting deadlines, and finally following through.

FLORAL PRINTS AT WORK

Hello working ladies! Spring is finally here and while the temperatures are still up and down; I’ve been slowly transitioning some of my winter items out for brighter colors and prints. I think you would agree when I say that warmer temperatures can put you in a better mood, especially after a long winter. For me it’s a bigger plus during the work week because I’m able to spend my lunch hour outdoors to catch some Vitamin D. It makes such a difference in my mood. Plus I’m always a fan of really stepping away from work for the hour and changing your surroundings.

PROFESSIONAL GOALS

It’s the top of the year and work has been keeping me pretty busy all month. So busy that at the end of each day, I focus more on decompressing when I get home. That includes preparing and eating healthy dinners, organizing for the next day and reading before bed. I’ve had a few holidays throughout this month to keep me balanced, however, making the extra time after work to maintain a clear headspace has been imperative to not bringing home any work related stress.

Style At Work | Day In The Life: Full-Time Professional + Part-Time Blogger Schedule

Today's Style At Work look reflects myday to daycold weather office and blogger style.  No heels, no dressy looks--strictly business casual.  I tend to keep things classic during the week with black.  It's easier to get dressed in the dark this way, lol.  However, adding these trousers from French Connection, gave me a little more interest that I wanted for this look.  Remember, just because it's freezing out, doesn't mean you have to compromise your style.
