1ST & 2ND TRIMESTER ESSENTIALS

1st Trimester

+ Prenatals

From the start I’ve been taking Ritual Prenatal Multivitamins, which are vegan, gluten free, and contain Omega-3 DHA, Choline and Folate for supporting fetal brain development. Taking these prenatal everyday isn’t so bad because of the light citrus taste.

+ Stanley Tumbler

A life-saver for my water drinking needs these days! This cup stays on my night stand and pretty much with me throughout my day!

+ Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy

My health insurance company sent me this book and it’s a great resource for information as you journey through pregnancy.

+Pregnancy Journal

I started keeping a journal to document my symptoms and emotions throughout this journey.

+ Blendjet Portable Blender

I was gifted this blender early on in my pregnancy and it was perfect when all I wanted was to drink smoothies. Since I have a hybrid schedule and am on the go, this portable blender makes it so easy to throw in some fruit and protein and be out the door while feeling like I’m still experiencing a quality breakfast and start to my day..

+ Sea Bands

I had morning sickness ALL DAY throughout the first 3 months of my pregnancy. I tried sea bands and they helped me at bedtime.

+Cocoa Butter + Shea Moisture Body Yogurt + Shea Moisture body Oil

To maintain my skin’s elasticity and prevent stretch marks I used a combination for the three. So far, my skin feels super soft and well moisturized with no stretch marks—fingers crossed!

+Ginger Ale

Because ginger seemed to be the cure all for my morning nausea.

+Cozy Slippers

Always a must!

+Stretchy Sleepwear

Nice, soft, and stretchy pjs helped bring me comfort in both trimesters.

+Kiehls Face Wash

I broke out like crazy in my first trimester. It was so frustrating. I found that Kiehls Ultra Face cleanser was my saving grace! The coordinating moisturizer paired well too!

2ND TRIMESTER

+Pregnancy Pillow - Baby Bub

Another must to feel the most comfortable as your belly grows. I saw this being advertised on IG. I love it because I’m a side sleeper and it makes it easy to roll over at night + it provides good back support.

+Belly Bands

As my belly started to grow, my pants and shorts no longer fit. The bands came in handy to put over my pants that I could no longer zip up.

+Pregnacy Tops

The bump started to take over so all my cute t-shirts or fall tops began to expose my midriff.

+Maternity Work Clothing

Again, my work clothes were starting no longer fit. I ended up ordering a few online in basic colors.

+Leggings

Jeans and work pants were no longer an option. Until my new maternity pants arrived, I loved my black leggings I paired with everything!

+Quality Tennis Shoes

+Throw Blanket

+Spanx Maternity Jeggings
