Chic Holiday Wardrobe | Winter White

Merry Christmas Everyone!!  I hope you all have been enjoying the holiday season as much as I have.  Lately, I have been talking a lot about having a capsule wardrobe for the holidays.  Articles of clothing that you have especially designated for this time of year.  Festive items that are a bit more glamorous and sparkly that you can wear throughout the winter season.  For me, Christmas time is the point in the season that I begin wearing winter white.  White can be worn effortlessly during colder months--the key is in the fabric and texture of the items you choose.

For this look I chose to stick with faux leather.  The faux leather skirt although a midi, has a high slit that I absolutely love.  It's bold and definitely a show stopping number, but still very tasteful.  To balance the sexy leg, I chose a long sleeved high neck top.  I love that the top has a sleeve of texture that matches the faux leather skirt.  It's unique and something I haven't really seen before.   My tip on keeping a sexy look tasteful and classy is to choose only one body part to highlight and cover the rest.

I just couldn't resist pairing a bold red lipstick with this look.  The combination of the red lips and white together just says holiday.  And this year, I definitely wanted to dress for the season!  I was so inspired by the ambiance one of my favorite places to visit here in Richmond--Quirk Hotel that it was only right to get a little fancy and hang out in the lobby by the beautiful Christmas tree.  It never takes much to create the experiences that you want to have in life.  I hope your Holiday experience will be one to remember this year.
