This year I wanted to really make it a point to focus on skincare.  In the past, I've learned how important it is to me to create a consistent routine along with using products that will benefit my skin's overall appearance and feel.  Sunday is normally the day of the week that I choose to pamper my skin, hair, and nails.  I call it 'Pamper Sundays' : )  I'll get a manicure or pedicure, wash and deep condition my hair, and take my time babying my skin.  This also includes drinking a few cups of tea as well.  It makes for perfect preparation for a busy work week.  With my facial skin being my main focus, deep cleaning and exfoliation are a huge priority for me since we are in the middle of winter.  I want to give you all a look inside my Sunday pamper routine that revolves around new products that I've discovered by Bioré.

The New Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser & Baking Soda Cleansing scrub are new weapons that I keep in my arsenal to fight for clean pores, simply because of the baking soda elements it contains.  If you didn't know, baking soda cleansers contain a natural deep cleansing ingredient and acts as an exfoliant.  Just what I was looking for to get a deep down clean and gentle exfoliation! I put on my favorite robe and begin my pamper.  I'm normally makeup free on pamper Sundays so I simply start off with a cleanser.  The New Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser is a daily pore cleanser that purifies your pores in just 2 days.  One thing that I also love is that it's great for combination skin.

I am in love with the smell and the consistency of this cleanser.  There are beads in the formula that are able to gently exfoliate without feeling like sandpaper against your skin.  I made sure to focus on my forehead and my nose.  My skin felt very soft and smooth after I used a wash cloth to pat dry my skin.

Now on to the fun stuff.  The Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing scrub is the final and most important step for my skin deep clean.

What's really cool about the scrub is that it's super easy to use.  You simply press the button to open the lid.  You wet your face and then pour about a quarter sized amount into your hands.   Add water to activate the cleanser and more water to soften the action while massaging the mix onto your face.  Rinse thoroughly!  Adding water to the powdery substance was the most fun because it allows you to customize the amount of exfoliation you need.  The scrub felt really invigorating.  The sensation of this product on my skin made me feel like the scrub was doing it's job and really removing dirt from my pores.

All done!  Doesn't it feel good having a freshly cleansed face ladies?  My pamper Sundays make for a perfect transition into the work week.  No manic Mondays for me!  I got my skincare done early yesterday.  I ended up stepping out for a Super Bowl get together so I threw on a little makeup.  One thing I will say is that the state of your skin definitely makes a difference in the appearance of your makeup.  Take care of your skin ladies.  What's great is that you can find these products at your local Target store
